considering move to el salvador

hello
im considering a move to el salvador in the coming months can anyone shed light on the following:
1) The crime situation seems to be very pronounced, is this over exaggerated?
2) Is kidnapping or home invasion a common crime?
3) News networks indicate that the war on drugs in mexico is having a spill over effect in el salkvador resulting in more drug related violence there, is that accurate?
4) I noticed that there was a law that prohibited blacks from coming to el salvador which was relatively recently removed. I have many black friends and would definitely love for them to visit during my time there. What's the racial climate like in general and specific to blacks given this old law?
