Opening a Bank Account in El Salvador

Hola todos!
I apologize for repetition in this topic if I missed any policies & procedures, required documents etc regarding opening a bank account for Canadians relocating to El Salvador. I have scoured the internet relentlessly on every possible issue but need to know what personal/legal documents are needed to take with us in order to open an account. We have accounts at Scotiabank here in Canada & want to be prepared as we depart for El Salvador to find & purchase our permanent home. Muchas gracias, amigos!
