Hi! Can anybody give me an idea of the real costs of living outside of San Salvador.
Assume a single person renting an appartment in areas such as San Miguel or Santa Ana. No children and no significant other. Not ruoughing it with rice and beans everyday, but not over indulging either; traveling around the country a bit.
No residency issues as I am salvadorean born (but left a long time ago)
If you can break some of the costs into rental, utilities, food, transportation (both public and maybe renting a used car/jeep from somebody for say 6 months at a time (might be a bit expensive I know, but want to know anyways)
I'm looking into going to spend winters in El Salvador (Nov to March) every year, so I would not be interested in buying any real estate at all. Thanks a bunch for any info. :)
