I am retired, I get social security and I have significant savings. I am visiting El Salvador in April assuming my next cancer screen comes back clear. I want to rent a house on the beach for a week and spend some of that week looking at properties to buy. I will be bringing my wife and maybe my two older brothers if it is relatively safe to travel in ES. The wife and I are experience travelers in central America. We have been visiting for years and it is always much safer than the headlines claim. I am concerned about gangs, volcanoes, storm surge from the ocean. Anyone have any recommendations for me?
