Going Home

Next week I will be taking a 3 week vacation in Arizona, and dragging along my French husband. We are both a little nervous about how we will treated, especially him. Has anyone living here gone home recently? I was wondering what the attitudes are really like. You hear such nasty things going around about the french, coming from America. But then I think they must be hearing the same thing over there and I haven't had any problems whatsoever.

On the other hand, I get emails from FRIENDS about boycotting french products and how the french this and the french that. I'm starting to feel french for the first time in my life because of all of this!

Anyway, I just want us to have a nice time and don't want my husband to be harassed by ignorant people who don't even bother to ask him what his opinion is first.

Any thoughts?
