Auto Importation

Hi,

My husband imported a car from the US to France last year. He was able to get insurance in France for 1 year, and was working on getting his french license plates. The car has to undergo all of these tests to make sure that it meets French guidelines etc, there were lots of forms mailed back and forth from different agencies etc. over the past year. Now, the insurance has expired on the car, and we have called around and are unable to get insurance. So we pay for parking etc on a new car that sits in a space and is unable to be driven to even get the necessary tests to obtain the French license plates etc.

We have gotten into a bit of a hard spot! Any advice or ideas you could share would be most appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Michelle
