I need advice on Lyon schools (college)

Hello, everyone!

I am coming from Canada to Lyon for a year and need to choose a school for my 11 y.o. daughter really soon, because I need to have her enrollement certificate in order to obtain a long-stay visa.
It is so difficult to choose since I have no idea in what area we will rent (I would greatly appreciate any info on what part of Lyon is the best to live) .
Has anybody had any experience with College Ombrosa in Caluire or Cite Scolaire Internationale in Lyon?
My daughter speaks decent French but I am still afraid to put her in the local school.
