special needs schools in france (south of france)

hi,
my husband and i have a 6 year old boy who has special needs.....
we are thinking of moving to france.
are there special needs schools in france???
at the moment our boy is in main stream school and has an aide.
we are part of the EEC...we live in canada at the moment and may have to move back to the uk (wales)......
do special needs children in france receive benefits such as disability living?????
my boy speaks a little french...
