Moving back to France...

I'm a 58 year old single retired male currently residing in the USA. Having dual nationality, I believe it may be in my best interest to move back to France so that I can enjoy the manifold social benefits unavailable to me at this point in the US, including national health insurance. I sold my father's apartment on the outskirts of Bordearx several years ago, but put everything in storage for possible future use. I'd be interested in buying property in or near any urban center in the south of France, including the Gironde, and would appreciate any advice on getting started onn this venture. Pierre
