So, I will be moving to France next year to live with my girlfriend. After careful consideration I have decided to make a full go with our relationship and transfer my life to her country. I have some promised job opportunities but the barrier of non citizenship stands in the way. For us to get married would solve this problem very easily, as many have attested on previous posts. My question: is there any advantage in us getting married here in the US and then heading back to France? Would the marriage be recognized in France officially, allowing me to enter the work force legally? Is it, in general, easier to marry in the US? Thanks, Mike
