need advice desperately

Hi, I am moving to Montpellier from the UK in the next few months.I have 2 girls aged 6 and 8 and we are not French speaking.(as yet )Does anyone have any information on state schools in this area that provide any extra support for foreign children. We aren't sure where to live in Montpellier ...it may be dependant on where a suitable school is...any general advice on areas would be fantastic.
Also any info on English speaking clubs etc would be useful.
