Expatriates iliving in Aix en Provence

I will be in Aix en Provence this coming September, as it is a city, besides Avignon , which is on my list for a definite move to France in early 2005.
Are there any expatriates in Aix who'd like to share a bit of their experience of this city, either by email or perpahs over a cup of tea at a cafe while I am there?
I also intend to contact AVF in Aix (Accueil des Villes de France) to obtain some of their relocation advice and meet new people. Does anyone know this French organizatiion that welcomes new people to their city? Here in Denver, we have a very active "Welcome Wagon" for newcomers...
