Hi, my name is Jason and I'm a freshman at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.
I've been doing some research on finding a summer job or internship in Europe, specifically France (the closer to Paris the better).
When I stumbled upon this site, I figured who would know France better than Americans living there.
Anyway, I'm studying Photography and hope to get into the photojournalism buisness (AP, Reuters, etc) and started out by looking for summer jobs with French-English newspapers.
--I was not successful.
To the point, I was hoping some of you could perhaps suggest certain companies who would be willing to hire or take-on an American student for the summer.
I'm also not against working for a private buisness.
My French is close to none, but I'm very interested in learning. My command in English is excellent and I've even got a little Korean under my belt.
I'm responsable and trustworthy and have several former employers who would be willing to back up my words. I'm not a drinker, nor a smoker, and I don't mind minimum wage -- all I need is a place to sleep, food to eat, and just enough left over to buy bus passes and 35mm film.
Thanks for your time,
