I have got an offer to work in Paris for a short duration of an year. I will be relocating to paris sometime in next month end. But so far i am not at all clear about certain aspects which i want to get cleared up before i take up the assignment:
1. The living cost in france for two, as i m married. The employer is proposing an expat allowance and accomodation. The amount is not communicated so far, thus would need to know the cost of living so that i have some basis to talk.
2. How does the taxation works there??? I am from India and will have to file my returns here in March of 2006, thus need some information on this.
3. One can understand that i will be moving to a new country with no background, thus need to know how comfortable is it to settle there and what are the formost things that i should take care of and where all can i save money.
