Finding work in Paris -- doing ANYTHING? Advice needed

I'll be spending about 3 months in Paris (mid sept to mid december)

I'm a 22 year old kid who is looking to spend a semester off school.

I'm willing to do anything from babysit to wash dishes to serving at a cafe. Are there many (any?) sites for jobs like this across the internet? Many I find are just loaded with spam.

Is it easy to find work like this when IN Paris? My grasp on the French language is mediocre at best. I speak English fluently and am willing to do virtually any job, so long as I have a roof over my head, dignity in tact and food in my stomach.

If I just landed in Paris with no job, would I be hard pressed to find work within a few days? Under the table/cash-in-hand work I would accept.
