Looking for Work! Please help!

Hello,
I am currently looking for work in France near Paris. My girlfriend recently accepted a teaching job in Dreux and I am attempting to find work close to Dreux or Paris. I know of the extreme difficulties surrounding employment in France but am looking for some kind of advice, connection, and/or opportunity. I hold a B.A. in history, but am only looking for temporary work, enough to get me by. I will really accept and do anything. If anyone has advice I am open to hearing what you have to say. Your help is greatly appreciated.
