Hybrid Wife

We currently have our UK house on the market and plan to be living in France permanently by this time next year. I am a British citizen. My wife reaches retirement age (60) in May 09 (I don't reach 65 until 2012). She was born in the US and although we married in 1975 and have lived in the UK ever since, she has retained her US citizenship.
She has paid NI contributions as normal and the DHSS tell us that she will be entitled to 91% of the State Pension when she retires (she stopped work to raise our children).
The question is, as a non-EU citizen who qualifies for pension and free healthcare in the UK, will she qualify for free health care in France after she retires and becomes a permanent resident?
I'd be grateful for any views and comments.
