Moving expenses from the US to France

My husband (american) and I (french) are thinking about moving back to France late 2009. We currently own a house in colorado and of course accumulated some stuff along the way. I would like someone who went through this move to share their experiences with me. How much does it cost to ship all your belongings to France and how long does it take to get everything once you are in France. Thanks in advance for your advice.
