Hey Guys,
I am looking to live/work in France permanently but my situation is a little difficult.
I am an American citizen living in Canada but I take online courses at the DeVry University in the US.
I know. It's complicated. I want to find a way to complete my studies(with the same university) while living in France under a student status.
My question is, is it possible to get a French student visa for a non French school? If I was to get an international student status, I might be able to study in France as a student. What do you think? I've lived there for 2 years and loved every minute of it. The easiest way to find a job in France is to first be a student. I found that out the hard way. Any thoughts?
I am aware of the basics like your bank account statement, international insurance, guaranteed housing and so on....
Thanks in advance for your help.
Chris
