Moving to Paris without a job

My wife, who is a French native, and I are looking to relocate from New York to Paris. My wife is pregnant (due in August) and does not work. It is highly likely that I won't be able to find a job before we move there. A few questions:

1. Will we be able to rent an apartment, considering we will not be able to document income? As a fallback, we could deposit our savings into my wife's French bank account to show that we can pay the rent.

2. Will we be able to get healthcare, considering I have no job and my wife has not worked in France since 2001?

3. Will I need to get a work permit to get a job in France, or is that not necessary since I am married to a French citizen?

I would be grateful for any advice you could provide.

Thanks,
Rob
