Hello. As I mentioned in an earlier post, my husband and I have, just recently, started to explore the possibility of retiring outside of the United States. I’m reading the many wonderful posts and articles on this website and have begun reading the book titled “How to Retire Overseas: Everything You Need to Know to Live Well (for Less) Abroad” by Kathleen Peddicord.
I also hope to read:
“The International Living Guide to Retiring Overseas on a Budget: How to Live Well on $25,000 a Year” by Suzan Haskins and Dan Prescher;
“Getting Out: Your Guide to Leaving America” by Mark Ehrman and Cletus Nelson;
and “I Don't Know Where I Want to Be - But It Isn't Here” by Suzie Hammond.
I would appreciate your feedback on any of these books as well as suggestions for additional books, forums, or websites on moving abroad in general or, more specifically, moving to France or Portugal.
Thank you.
