140 Days to Go!

Bon jour, mes amis! Grace and I are into the final countdown. After all your advice and some personal research, we will try for the extended stay (1 year) visa and hope for the best. If not, we will travel on our US passports and go from there. We are our reducing our possessions to 2 suitcases and a carry-on (each). We are investigating buying a "gebraucht wohnmobile" from VW Franfurt upon arrival in Europe and driving to Provence from there. As retired seniors with adequate finances and no particular health issues (aside from being "old"), we are optimistic for this adventure. We must find a rental cottage for our initial destination, and ask for some "Ex-Pat Exchange" help to locate something. Our French improves "plus et plus, chaque jour". Merci, and AuRevoir.
