I am just beginning my research in regards to moving to France. I am looking for suggestions for town or villages within an hour or so to the Mediterranean coast. I am not that interested in big cities.. I am a widw and looking to start a new life. I really can't afford to live in the US on my 2 pensions.. I also like to know about rental cost, I have 2 pre-exsisting medical condition that require medications and a periodic vistit to the doctor. I do currently have Mediare and Tricare for lLife (military). Any advice on learning French. I won't be moving until Fall of 2018. I do plan on bringing my dog. Ant kind of info is greatly welcomed
