Hi! I’m a non-EU citizen, specifically from the Philippines. I just finished my bachelor’s degree. My general plan is to work and reside permanently in France. But I can’t think of any solutions to fulfill that dream but to take Masters degree and be fortunate to find a job there after finishing that Masters degree and maintain being employed to be a French citizen or a permanent resident at least. (Please don’t suggest marriage as a solution, I want to migrate by my own perseverance as much as possible).
I’m planning to study any Master’s programs that is related to my field in France because that is my dream country. I dream to work in Airbus but not necessarily (It's not bad to dream though). All I want is to migrate, pursue my french dreams, and get a decent job there.
If you question me why I choose France, is because I like their culture, I love Europe, especially France, and I think Aviation industry is big and successful in France.
I’m going to work at my home country for 2–3 years to earn work experience for my field. Do you think that’s enough?
Now, how difficult is it for a non-EU national like me to get a job there whilst taking masters?
How difficult is it for me to get a “decent” job there after graduating?
If i get employed, is there a big possibility to be regularised so that I can maintian my employment until I reach the required years to be a permanent resident at least?
Last but not the least… What’s the status of aviation industry in France?
How’s the competition and demand in french aviation industry?
Is the competition so intense, especially for french natives/locals?
or Is it in great demand?
Do foreigners have good chances to be employed in the current status of aviation industry in France?
What are your tips?
For sure I’ll be learning French. I think this is very necessary.
If you are a French aeronautical engineer, especially if you have foreign colleagues, please share your experiences.
Thank you for your answers. I hope I get all my questions answered truthfully and honestly.
Merci!
Bon Journée!
