Move from France to another EU country

Does anyone know if, after I receive a carte de séjour and live in France for 1-2 years, and then move to say Spain and receive a non-lucrative visa, will my time spent in France under a carte de séjour count towards the five years required for permanent EU residency or does changing my country of residence reset the clock?
