Hi there,
Has anyone had any issues with your financial statements when applying for the long stay visa?
I applied through a VFS center (in Houston) and today the consulate informed me I am missing bank statements. I know that I gave bank statements to the VFS center. I provided pay stubs and statements for 4 different accounts on my part as well as pay stubs and bank statements for my French boyfriend (we are pacsé) who is also acting as my sponsor.
I am not sure what to provide to them to deal with the 'missing' documents. Is it possible that VFS lost a portion of my documents or has the French consulate rejected the statements I provided.
If anyone has had a similar experience or was able to get feedback from the consulate in DC, I would be really happy to hear about it.
It will be really devastating if I am unable to obtain a visa.
