Hi,
I have started exploring Strasbourg as I would like to be convenient to airports, trains, and the Netherlands.

Are there other northern cities or smaller towns that would be wise to explore? Suggestions are welcome! We also prefer to live near lakes or rivers.

We will be retired and not looking for jobs. Locating a reasonable rental home, and access to healthcare and fresh produce are all important.
