Hi,

My name is Aaron. My wife and I currently reside in the Northeastern part of the US. We are in our 50's and after dreaming of living in France, we both are hoping and planning on retiring to Lyon. That plan is about 7 years out so we do have some time.
We are both still learning the language and culture. As far as speaking French, we can communicate most of our needs now, but we still have a lot to learn.
Any advice on the logistics of moving overseas and/or challenges we will/might face is absolutely welcome.
We are very early in planning stages, having researched Lyon and the arrondissement that would suit us best.
