Hello! Can you please advise me on retiring in La Rochelle? I am looking for summers that are not hot or humid. Also, I am having a difficult time finding apartments for sale listings that are not over 120000 euros with a separate bedroom. Is La Rochelle difficult for finding accommodations to purchase? Finally, and this is very important, is there a MAJOR and BIG hospital in La Rochelle that could perform all major surgeries such as open heart? I looked at the website of a hospital there and could not find anywhere where it listed that heart surgery was something that they did. I am not interested in driving miles and miles or being air-lifted to the nearest hospital. Thanks for your kind and helpful comments!
