Potato Chips and ....Other Comfort Foods

Hi Dave,

Confused as to which topic thread your recent comments are in, so decided to start a new one....

I HAVE found Lays Potato Chips in Dresden in several LARGE food centers. Faily certain in the Karstadt Food Center, know in the new Altmarkdt Gallerie, as well as large places.

AS well....Ritz Crackers ARE in the Wallmart here.

But what I have yet to locate is Saltine Crackers. I HAD some from US and had several German cooks taste and identify....nein! They had nothing to offer. But believe they ARE in the KaDeVe in Berlin, 6th floor food court...but pricey as IMPORTS!

While in Ireland recently and Scotland last year...believe the separation between American food items and theirs are blurring. TESCO must in someway be "related" to some US Corp.

Will post recipe for Stollen soon in the recipe section that Betsy set up. But I can NOT find it. HELP!
