leaving british forces,settling,marriage in germany

hello my names karl
i am currently serving in the british armed services and am planning to leave the forces within the year my fiancee is living and studying in uni-rostock.
however she resides in munster some kilometers away.

my problem is i dont have the foggiest what to do as the armed forces only provide info on leaving the army presuming im returning to the uk.
i was wondering if anyone could explain to me the process of what to do. i dont need a working visa as i will be funded this by the millitary and the millitary will sponsor me to stay but i have been told there is a whole lot of burocracy to go through with local authoritys please if there is an expert on the german system please help me im at YOUR MERCY lol thanx for listening ..
