I need help!

Hello,

I am a 21 year old american who doesn't have much of anything but I was born in Germany. I am told that I have dual citizenship, however, I will be relinquishing in if I don't move to Germany by the age if 23.

I've done a lot of research and haven't been able to get consistent information. I even asked the American embassy but they didn't respond.

My questions are where would be the best town to start? I was born in Heidelberg but would that be a good place to find a job?

What is finding an apartment like. I know I should just find an agent but how do things like pet deposits like and how much is the norm for what you put down on an apartment there?

Is there a quarantine process I have to put my dog through?

How do a find a job there? I have training in tutoring, animal care, animal breeding, event planning, member services, vocal training, guitar teaching, writing/editing and working with the elderly and I only have 27 general education credits.

What are my responsibilities as a German citizen and what are my entitlements? What is going to school there like? Could any of my credits be transferred?

I've always wanted to go back to Germany I was 4 when I left.

I speak only conversational German.

Any help or advise would be most appreciated.

And I wish I could but I don't have the money to visit it would just be picking up and moving there.
