Hi! I own an UG small company in Germany. I hired an accountant, who accepted to do the balances of my company. The accountant did a good job and delivered in time the 2019 balance. I delivered all the documents for the 2020 balance back in April 2021. We are in January 2023, she still did not delivered the balance to the Finanzamt. I have with me proof of communications requesting my accountant to deliver the balance in time (deadline was 31st August 2022). She promises me she will do the work, but never keeps her word. This has been going since January 2022, when I started pressing her to do the 2020 balance in time. Now, I had to pay a 600,00Euro fee to the Finanzamt. She lies all the time, including in writing (emails) telling me that everything will be fine and done in timie.

I wonder if there is any way to press up legal charges against such a scroc? Maybe a legal injunction ordering the accountant to work and deliver in time the balances, or the like. However, I heard I should not do that because the accountant association in Germany would blacklist me and I would not be able to find another professional to do the job for the 2021 and 2022 balances. I would really appreciate any guidance on that because I simply cannot suffer like that at the hands of such a person without having any possibility of protecting me and my small company from reputation damages, amendments by the German fiscal authorities and the like.
I am sure the German legal code has laws protecting victims like me. Any advice is welcome!
