Calling all dog lovers!

I will be moving to Guatemala towards the end of December, right before Christmas (I am also visiting again in October).

I have two dogs, both Boston Terriers, that I would like to bring with me. I have two questions about this:

1) I know they both will have to have the health certificate that's been authenticated by the consulate here in the States. Is there anything else I need to know regarding bringing them in?

2) Boston Terriers are "smash faced" dogs (it's called brachycephalic). As such, the airlines won't allow them to fly in the cargo hold. So my dilemma is how do I get both of them there when I move?

It was suggested to me to try to find someone who would be willing to foster one of them for a couple months; that way I could bring one with me when I visit in October and bring the other when I move in December. I, of course, would pay them to watch her while I am back here. But how would I find such a person?

If I can't bring them both to Guate, I will be forced to give one of them up, which would break my heart!

Thanks for any help you can give me!
