Buy motorcycle in/around Antigua?

Plan to live/visit for awhile in around Antigua/Pana. One year + see how goes, maybe retire, am 60, seeking a good used motorcycle for transport. Will have Pensioner Visa.

I see dealers in Guat City but suspect many good used bikes in./around Antigua? Are they hard to find? Price range, $2-3K US? Local bulletin boards, paper?

Any hassles driving around with US license, difficult to register?,, (pay a local goto guy I suspect to get the paperwork done?)

Any tips, firsthand knowledge...
