Buying a car in Guatemala

Hi everyone. I'll finally be moving to Antigua, Guatemala in January and I'm starting to plan things. One thing I think I'll need in Guatemala is a car. If anyone has any advice on where to find a used car there and where to get car insurance and the approximate cost of car insurance it would be appreciated! Also, I'd be interested to know if any expats there thought they needed a car but have not had a problem doing without one in Antigua.
