santa ana neighborhood

It looks like rents are less in Santa Ana. Is it too far too walk to/from the center of Antigua? Is it not a "good" neighborhood? The plaza looks pretty uninteresting...but maybe it's just more "real" Guatemala than Antigua. Comments?
