I've been posting some videos of Guanaja from my last visit FEB 2011. Of the 300+ HD videos I shot I ended up loading about 33 on youtube at -

Contrary to what I thought when I started putting these up, youtube actually
recommends that you load your highest resolution file, which in my case dsplays
as an HD 1080p. Their system apparently creates smaller resolution video at 480
pixels which loads much faster than the HD would. If you go to any HD video on
youtube, it looks like they all default to a lower resolution, and they load
much faster at that size.
However, if you click the 'fullscreen' icon in the lower right corner of the videos they'll play in 2 resolutions of HD. 720 by default, but if you click the 720 in the lower right you'll see a 1080p selection. So it switches to start loading a higher resolution file at that point.
If you click the 1080 indicator, you can load them in the highest 1080p
resolution which would look excellent even on a big screen HDTV. So this is
what youtube says to do and I went ahead and loaded all of them in HD. That
really doesn't matter to anyone unless you're viewing them on your largescreen
HDTV. I watched these on a 42" HDTV using an HDMI connection from my laptop and they were awesome!
