I am researching for a comedy/drama TV series based on ex-pats living in Hong Kong. My sister was going to be my research subject - as she was scheduled to relocate with her husband before the year's end - but their plans changed.
I am reaching out to Expat Exchange in hopes of finding Americans willing to share their experience of living in Hong Kong. I would love to hear descriptions of living conditions (gated communities) and social enteractions. Your stories would be used as research for writing the pilot show. Altho the story line would be based on American ex-pats - I would welcome stories of adjusting to life in Hong Kong from any nationality. I look forward to hearing from you!
