Meat in Hungary

Now that we are living in Balatonfured I have noticed a distinct lack of particular foods that I am missing. In particular beef and lamb. There are some very poor cuts of beef available (tongue, tenderloin, and some tough roasts) but nearly no lamb at all. We do our shopping either locally at the market or in Veszprem at Tesco or Interspar (the latter is far better in quality). we also checked out the Auchan at Szekashfeharvar but that is pretty much a waste of time. Soon, I will have a membership to Metro so p[perhaps they are better but I will be surprised. Is this everyone else's experience as well? Or, is there some secret to finding good meat other than chicken and pork?
