I am a US citizen that will soon be relocating to Hyderabad. I am currently finishing a law degree in the US but am contemplating immediately moving to India if I find an ideal opportunity, since US lawyers cannot even practice in India, as the current laws stand.
I graduated in three years from a top university in California with:
- BA in International Studies
-Minors in Conflict Resolution (arbitration and mediation) and Accounting.
-Received a 3.24 out of 4.0 scale
I am in my second year at an ABA accredited law school in CA as well
-Moot Court Honors Board Member
-Oral Advocacy Competition Finalist
-Fellow for the Center for International and Comparative Law
-3.6 in Legal Writing
Employment history:
-Law Clerk for the Orange County District Attorneys Office (state criminal prosecutor)
-Associate at Benefit Consulting (tax and investment firm)
-bookkeeping for various employers
-small business owner while in university
I am an extremely fast learner and have been able to train myself in various practice areas, so I am open to diverse fields of work, not simply legal or financial. I am looking for a serious, stable position since I will be settling in Hyderabad permanently.
