Expat Banking Matters - Fixed Deposit, now I have left

Dear all,

I was living and working in India for 2 years. During the time I was there, my bank encouraged me to take a fixed term deposit. I was attracted to the interest rate and signed on for 10 years. I have since then left India. Now the fixed deposit is near maturity. Any kind advice on how I can remit the amount out of India? And am I affected by the new aadhar card policy? THANK YOU
