Permanent Settlement In Surat, Gujarat, India

I have great respect for the UK as I spent most of my life there. However, due to the lack of sunshine and poor weather conditions, I did my research and moved permanently to Surat in India. The weather in Surat from Oct to end of March is between 24-30 degrees with almost 9 hours of Sun/daylight. April to June are hot summer months and then July to September are the monsoon months.

My health is much better here due to the good weather, organic diet and exercise (yoga, walking and gym). Luckily I found a 5 star 3 BHK villa resort in Surat which has good security 24/7, security cameras everywhere, thousands of different trees planted all over the Society complex ( including huge Kadam trees which release good amount of oxygen). The clubhouse has a swimming pool and sitting area where we all gather for daily chats, pool tables, table tennis, gym, spa etc. It feels like I am in Dubai. My monthly expenses come to 250 pounds (Rupees 25,000) per month. So overall it is very cheap here as there is no financial pressure and my fitness has improved by 70% compared to my lifestyle in UK. Everything is online so the risk of being cheated/scammed is very low. Roads are much better and looking forward to the new bullet trains in a few years time. Major infrastructural developments, proper systems and better standard of living are taking place.
