I may be moving on an expat status to Jakarta and wanted to know about the reality of living there, things such as :

Sports facilities, is there any Rugby teams my son could join, what about sailing, I've already contacted the Cricket Association and that seems prettry well organised, Golf
What's a good GYM with sports facilities to join - we would all like to improve our swimmingare there any good coaching facilities
Cost of utilities
What about food , dining out, night-life
Housing for family of 4 - 2 adults, boy 12, girl 14
Education - best schools
Expat salaries - what you really need to have a reasonable life in Jakart, what would be a good salary level
What are the things that you need to be careful of : water etc
Any scams to be aware of?
What's it really like living there?
Anything else that might be relevant
I've already spent some time in Azerbijan and have no problems living internationally.
