Decent hotel in Jakarta for a exploration trip

I will be in Jakarta for about three weeks starting from November 1st. The purpose of my trip and stay will be to check out the living conditions etc. Could any body recommend me a decent (clean,safe) and centrally located hotel in the price range from 25 to 30 USD per night where I could stay ?
