Relocating to Bali.

Dear fellow travelers!
After gong back and forth with my decision,i have decided to move to Bali on the 5th of April.I would request any kind of assitance possible with regards to decent yet reasonably cheap accommodation.Since am traveling by myself i would like to be in a safe enviornment and yet not to cut out from the fun and frolic in Bali.Question is how expensive is Bali,in comparison to India?
Tourist Visa lasts only a month and then how does one sustain?
