Hopeful US - Ireland move

So I've spent about 4 hrs reading this specific page as I've been researching a move from East Tennessee to County Kerry. I've read the long 250 post topic suffered by Dave and the retirement rules. I'm only 35, no where near retirement age yet. My question is how hard is it to immigrate to Ireland when you aren't at retirement age. I would love to get a work permit or even open a business in Ireland. I own 2 businesses here and I intend to operate them by satellite basically until I can sell them off. Once I do I'll either get a job or open a business of some kind. I've done a lot of researching but no matter how much you read it helps to get feedback from real people. I don't like big cities as I said i'm from East Tennessee ... I'm born and raised in the mountains so I want to live in the country. I'm from a very touristy area called Gatlinburg so I kinda wanna live in an area that is a tourist economy which is what I'm use to.
