Roaches?

Hi! My name is marv and I'm a 20 year old guy that is currently saving up to move to Ireland. I currently live in Malta, however my country of origin was Greece. Anyway, I have a serious phobia about cockroaches. Any size, even the half inch ones, but the 1+ Inch roaches make me faint badly. I won't just move to Ireland, I will have a homestead with my fiancée in the country side, probably somewhere around Offaly. So my main question is, are roaches a problem in Ireland? I know its pretty wet, but it's cold at the same time so I don't assume that it's that common to spot one. We will be living in an RV on the land that we buy, Thank you so much :)
