Feeling Defeated+

I've been seriously researching moving my family to Ireland from the U.S. for the past month or so. My parents are both retired and my sister and I are still both of working age. Between work permits, INIS, and monetary/occupation requirements I'm feeling pretty defeated. Can you guys share your stories of the difficulties you may have faced during your own relocation?
