Moving to start first job in Ireland

Hello!

I have recently accepted an offer of employment in Ireland and will be starting next month (October 2018). I am from the UK and feel overwhelmed by the amount of information and would just like a step-by-step of what I should be doing and when. I will need to sort out a place to rent as well as open a bank account. I have also seen that a PPS number will be required for some services? Please advise what I should be sorting out first.
